Ronald Jay Erkman, 69, of Mt. Prospect, was called home by the Lord in the early morning hours of February 5, 2017. Beloved husband of Carol Erkman nee Lenk. Loving father of Brooke (Matt) Dawes, Jay (Heather) Erkman, Brett (Jessica) Erkman. Devoted grandfather of Abigail and Dylan Dawes, Chloe, Tyler and Bryce Erkman, Otto Erkman. Dear brother of Patty (Jim Kraus) Robertson, Gary (Kim) Erkman. Fond uncle and cousin of many. Ronald was preceded in death by his parents J.W. and Gertrude.
Visitation Wednesday 3:00 P.M. – 9:00 P.M. at Friedrichs Funeral Home, 320 W. Central Rd. (at Northwest Highway) Mt. Prospect.
Visitation continues Thursday 9:30 A.M. until funeral services 10:30 A.M. at St. Paul Lutheran Church, 100 S. School St. Mt. Prospect.
